NOTICE: Due to an illness, there will be no HOA meetings for Master or Countryside for March. The Village had already announced that they will not have their meeting as well. The next Meeting for all HOA's will be on April 6th, 2024.

Polk County, Florida is currently under a Modified Phase III water shortage order issued by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Polk County Utilities customers must follow a once-per-week irrigation schedule with limited watering hours.

Allowed Watering Hours

Lawn and landscape irrigation is allowed only during these hours on your assigned watering day:

  • 12:01 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
  • 8:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Properties less than one acre may water during only one of these two windows.

Important Notes

  • The restrictions apply to Polk County Utilities customers, including residences, businesses and common areas.
  • The schedule applies regardless of water source, including private wells and reclaimed water.
  • Wasteful or unnecessary water use is prohibited at all times.
  • Homeowners associations may not require watering outside the approved schedule.
  • Customers served by another city or utility should check that provider’s rules, which may be stricter.
